Sports Medicine 12th

Fifteen seconds left on the clock and his team is down by 1 point. He knows that the fate of this game depends on his every move. He decides to run down the middle of the court and go for the left handed layup. He’s up in the air and makes the shot!! The crowd goes wild!! The sound of cheering is suddenly interrupted by a loud THUMP followed by a terrorizing scream, the crowd suddenly grows quiet. When he came down from the layup, his foot slipped out from under him, and all 235lbs of his body landed on his left lower leg. His leg is clearly broken in several places. Two people run out on the court and immediately tend to the athlete.

Is your adrenaline pumping, and heart rate racing? Are you interested in what happens next? Can you see yourself as one of the persons tending to this athlete? If so, then Sports Medicine is the cluster for you!
